Ode to Michelangelo and the champions of the track. These guys go so fast that their weeks only last 6 days. Michelangelo was the Italian multi-talent from the Renaissance, combining and excelling in multiple disciplines. Riding the track for 6 days requires that same talent for craftmanship and mastery of multiple disciplines. The track has been the cradle for many sprinters and time trial specialists.

Kermiskoers

België, waar koers meer is dan fietsen. De carrousel staat symbool voor het sociale aspect van de “kermiskoers”, plezier voor zowel klein als groot, een stuk traditie in een veranderende wereld. Staal werd carbon, dunne buizen werden brede aero-frames, maar de kermis blijft verfrissend nostalgisch. De geur van friet en bier, wielerhelden die rondjes draaien om de kerktoren, zoals de carrousel die als een scharnier blijft draaien tussen verleden en heden.
