from Art to Finish.
At Artnouvelo, we have the goal to transform our love for the bike into vibrant and unique art pieces. Because no other sport combines body, technique, fashion, food and nature into a powerful never-drying-out-source of inspiration like cycling does.

Something magical happens when artistic paths cross with cycling tracks.
Some snapshots from behind the scenes
Here's a sneak peek into some of the projects and thoughts that we're working on. Some of this will result in a finished piece, but a lot will also never see finish line. Sometimes the idea simply outpowers the answer to the question of "how would this look like, were we to pursue this idea down this or that road?"
The process of painting is also a slow one - inevitably leading to many "work in progress" pieces. Like jamming your ideas through a narrow funnel. We love digital and traditional - and use both, depending on the mood, timelines and also the moment within the process. While digital art like mechanical doping allows you to achieve results and variations at a speed that you previously assumed to be unreachable, we cherish traditional painting for the touch of reality on non-virtual surface, the different speeds and thought process you need to have in mind or intuitively follow to reach your end goal. Often we will also interact both ways with each other - an unfinished piece that gets a new life digitally. Or a digital print that gets reworked traditionally. Sometimes we even do both multiple times.
At the end of the day, just like in a classic, there is more going on than what is seen on camera. And the race tactics you had in mind at start, sometimes get thrown overboard as soon as the official start is given. Art is an organic process for us.
