the power of the peloton
often exceeds that of the individual. For us that is no different. That is why we look forward to collaborations, why we love to connect and why we believe that cycling and arts are social activities in which individuals can also fully be themselves. Different sizes and shapes in one jersey. Different jerseys in one peloton.
Below you will find a list of collaborations that we are involved in, projects that we support and people that we hold high -just to name a few of the many, many more that we could include.
To Walk Again Never Give Up.
Art with a purpose - good legs.
Everyone should have the possibility to walk
Sometimes tough luck happens and people end up in situations that drastically alter their mobility. To walk again supports paralysed people towards their ultimate goal to hopefully one day walk again.
Above all, they will never give up to believe that every little change or gesture will help, one step at a time. Because life is a team sport, and no one should be left along the track without support.
Special credits to Wout Van Aert who supports To Walk Again as one of its key ambassadors. A true champ on and off the bike!
The Vandal .
finest textile from Rubens' hometown & Belgium's fashion capital
our partner in style
Ever since the early days of ArtNouvélo, the Antwerp-based pioneers from The Vandal have supported us, resulting in a line of clothing that both represents our artistic touch and their no-nonsense attitude. Don't just stare, but wear :-)
Ginger Jack .
energy boost differently
our secret weapon is not a gel..
Ginger Jack gave us a boost the past years, being one of the first brands that gave our artwork a place in their world. Our cycling wheelie Jack has been the face for their yearly gravel event, and we will attend and ride the track in person in April 2026, when Ginger Jack Gravel 3.0 takes place. See you there !
Coureur BXL .
noone fits better than them
in the heart of Europe
Imagine a cool bike store in a cool neighbourhood in the beating heart of Brussels, capital of Europe. Spoiler alert : you can stop imagining, the place actually already exists. Coureur Bxl is their name, where Bxl stands for our homeground. The crew behind the store is not just super friendly and passionate about their métier, but they also are top class riders and organise a lot of social events where everyone is welcome. Whether for your bike, their cool merchandising or our exclusive manneke pis-t shirts (only for sale at their shop!) : we can highly recommend paying them a visit!

Kristi Kuldkepp
from sunny Spanish seaviews
to a love for muddy autumn tracks
Kristi loves mud. Correction, she absolutely adores pushing her high end cyclocross machine through it, round after round, descent after ascent. And still looking sharp as if she's going to the night of the proms right after the race, while conquering sand and slippery surfaces.
Winner of a European GranFondo title, we are also very fondo'her. Because she loves our art. Which for any artist is the highest of compliments. Through social media then started a cool friendship that connected us to her flat in Calpe, decorated with our artworks, handpicked and framed by Kristi's entrepreneurial spirit and taste for the good cycling things in life. You can book your stay - and we can only recommend it. Then you can find out for yourself what makes Kristi special, and for us a daily source of inspiration and motivation.
Art is the result of inspiration and imagination.
Reduced to their very essence, our paintings almost always lead back to people who through the act of being themselves ignited a spark that set our imagination on fire. The outcome of that unstoppable creative process is ArtNouvélo.
Here is a list of some of the many people that inspired us along the road and whose profiles are definitely worth a visit!
Giovanni "Gio" Ianelli lost his life way too early, back in 2019, doing what he loved doing : racing and sprinting. 2019 was a dark year for cycling - we think of Stef Loos, of Björg Lambrecht and other incidents that cut deep into our cycling heart. At that time both Andreas and myself had been fathers for 2 years and were having family expansion on its way on top. All these events made us think of what this sport was all of a sudden doing to its youngsters who still had to write their stories. Their wings cut when they had only just started flying. This was a different dimension than the tragic passings of our youth heroes like VDB, Pantani, Chaba Jimenez. One of the ways in which we expressed that grief was through art. To give these young riders a place in our thoughts, we put them on paper. This caused some of their relatives to connect with us and that connection again triggered a substantial part of the later ArtNouvélo : making sure that we also contribute to a good cause and help in preventing dramas like these.
For us Gio is the symbol of everyone who saw the downside of cycling in its blackest shape, and we try to keep his spirit high. Like Michele Scarponi's blue-yellow macow lightens up the skies with his colourful feathered wings.
— Giovanni "Gio" Ianelli
If there were to be an unofficial muse for artnouvélo, then Džesika Šereikytė would be the chosen one. Abbreviated wisely to Dzesxo on instagram (although admittedly we also don't know how to correctly pronounce that neither). While we are like slugs going from 1 to 2300 followers over a course of 5 years, she rocketed to 100K followers in half of the same timespan. We can't blame the fans, as she has been inspiring us as well with her stories from initially Florida and the Keys, to recently Colorado's mountains, combining cycling, style, fitness and adventure in one. The friendly girl next door or the cycling socialite par excellence - her appearance navigates between those 2 personas and we couldn't resist to dedicate a few of our artworks to Dzesika. And everytime she puts a like, we raise our arms as if we reach Paris in yellow.
— Dzesxo
Chamizo has been supporting us since the very beginning. You can find our shirts and hoodies there and they regularly also put some of our artworks up for display. Actively sponsoring charity events as well, their world is more than just the bicycle, but the full combo bike, people, mobility and community. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the hood!
— Chamizo
Long- longer- ultra - Jair. Everything looks like a piece of cake to Jair - literally. He's riding thousands of kilometers with tens of thousands of meters of elevation on top. almost non-stop. Barely sleeping, and just going from gas station to wooden bench and sleeping bag. We look at his stories, read his articles and analyse his "rondje-randje" maps in full admiration. Then we go for a piece of pie and coffee, take out our brushes and paint, and transpose his efforts on the road onto the unpredictable whiteness of our canvas.
— Jair Hoogland
We all need a best buddy on or off the bike. One of these compagnons de routes that just answers any idea with a "when do we leave?" and not a "nah, that's not possible."
Patrick is one of these BFFs. Bike Freaking Fanatics. Follow his adventures on his social media account routesandrides. We might occasionally have a guest appearance on some of his epic stories. And try to follow him if you can.

You could be black and white and define Karl Meesters as "that blind guy" but he is way more versatile than that. Keynote speaker, tv personality, columnist, concert organizer.. you name it, he probably does it too. And above all, we spent years together at school, being totally blind about what all would happen decades later.. just like the offroad tracks that we love, it wasn't always an easy road for Karl.

Ladies and gentlemen, here's an active and multi-facetted former pro-rider that we would definitely like to have a beer or two with one day. Or a "bon vin" from the Bayonne area. Loic Chetout 's career will be marked forever by the dramatic crash of Stig Broeckx, during which he stopped his own race to assist the unfortunate Belgian rider. This good deed deserves a round of applause, though Loic will simply classify it as doing what every man would have done in the situation. He was one of the first (ex-)pro riders to interact with us, and that again gave us energy to move forward with ArtNouvélo. Loic is active as the face of his youtube channel Sans les Freins (check out the cool jersey!), was previously presenting GCN FR, loves fashion and motorbikes. Recently he accomplished an ultra race in the North African desert and we can only say "merci et chapeau!".

She doesn't know it but we are a big fan of her trips through Patagonia and other Latin Americans countries like Bolivia or Uruguay. The way she brings the landscapes to life over there is unique and we are always just 1 click away from booking tickets to the other side of the globe, so to speak. We wonder sometimes how she manages to do what she is doing, and make all these great videos and shots in remote areas and muddy tracks - but let that also be part of the mystery.

We had the pleasure to meet Steven briefly in Brussels a few years ago at a "Tous en Selle" event and share the stage at the end. We were impressed by his commitment and passion to exploring the world by bicycle, and setting a few records while doing so. Very active on social media, not scared to share his emotions and opinions, we recommend following this ultra-man for your daily dose of not-so-usual stories from all remote corners of the world. And we share his love for Nepal. Namaste, champion!

Alexander Bee was born in India and grew up at Honfleur, a coastal town in Normandy. With a degree in anthropology, and passionate about discovering different cultures he travelled across Asia and Africa.
Since working for the United Nations agency for Migration in Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Djibouti, he developed a strong taste for documentary photography.
His work assignments have been an immersive approach to candid photography in which he captures the visual and narrative story of people around the world through real life scenes, captivating portraits and particular landscapes.
ArtNouvélo is a big fan of his Bicycle Series in Africa and the Middle East.

Through Clemens' witty lense and interactions with our work, we discovered and made a few connections that brought us forward as well on our journey as ArtNouvélo. We are not just fans of his photography but we also look forward regularly to stuff from other artists that he shares and reposts. Thanks for all the times you shared something of ArtNouvélo, Clemens!

Who else
did we forget?
Well, as mentioned prior, the names of people that we admire are numerous. It's enough to scroll through our list of followers and pick another handful of special folks. Fellow cyclists, fellow artists, communicating souls. We also think of many of today's pro riders, but also cherish our heros from the past.
Last but not least, we remember all the cycling lads and lasses that we've lost and whose loss we hope served the purpose of a better road for anyone coming after.
Ride in Peace.
